It should be! But I feel that anytime our interests groups get invited to something in DC or New York or Chicago, they get to feel like big boys and just go and sit in the corner, all stuffed looking and red faced in their suits. The look of "aw shucks" is probably all over their face and they are so floored at even being invited, they resolve themselves to do nothing loud or that might be construed as socially awkward or embarrassing.

It's pretty bad, but I usually just count on Cargill, John Deere, Monsanto, and the like to look out for our interests. Mostly in the vein of what is good for the goose is good for the gander. That is sort of a dangerous lot for us to cast with, but I feel they are much more effective at lobbying and effecting changes than our interest groups.
