It updates definitions automatically and regularly
I use it to scan old hard drives with a USB interface cable, 8 - 14 hours to do a full scan. It finds and removes junk that other malware missed.
Microsoft seems to have learned to get it right themselves rather than expecting the user to find other ways to fix the problems.
The malicious software removal tool runs an updated version monthly as a background operation, so far both my W10 units run trouble free. | |
