Near-north Ontario, French River | In all fairness you can't compare retail prices especially when it comes to milk and eggs , as they are often used as loss leaders to get folks into the grocery store. A much fairer comparison would be farm gate pricing. I suspect the US producers may still get less than Canadian producers but the difference won't be as dramatic as in the retail market. |
