Subject: RE: cooking ham

Central Illinois
stevehin, Someone shared a recipe here on Ag Talk several years ago that I have been using. Pack brown sugar on the ham, put Apricot preserves on top of that. Cover with double foil, then place in an 180 degree oven overnight. Take it out of the oven, let it set while you use the oven for other baking. Carve and place in a pan. Then pour the drippings over the top just before your other dishes are ready. I warm it before serving by covering it and sliding it into the oven for about 10 minutes.
Who ever shared that recipe, THANK YOU !
