Cook it low and slow and don’t over cook. Biggest key is to take it out early and let it rest before carving.

I can tell you how not to do it.....wife bought a big ham for Easter but didn’t use it. A few days later, she put it in the oven to use it up. Great friend and neighbor stopped by to visit. The ham smelled fantastic so it wasn’t as though she forgot it, but she kept thinking, they’re leaving in a minute and I’ll get it then. 5 hours of visiting and we had the most over cooked ham ever! :)
