Yes, we use the internal receiver modems. We do not have any external modems at all. It seems like there should be some sort of hardware that'll take the 4g signal direct from Verizon and convert it down to something that our existing receivers can use without needing a $700/year subscription.


It sounds like you and your dealer do not understand how this works. The Verizon signal is only a means to transport the RTCM or CMR correction signal between the CORS network and your RTK receiver. If Verizon stops transmitting on 3G and lower, you just need a modem capable of receiving 4G or LTE. There are lots of them out out there. I am guessing that your dealer also sells Digifarm and is trying to make you buy something else. Nothing against Digifarm as it is a very good service, but I would no longer buy from that dealer as they either do not know what they are talking about or are trying to pull one over on you.
