| 'Somehow' try to get vinegar in the cartridge hole area and wipe your finger inside to take out lime build up and or sharp objects etc. With the vinegar try to block the hole up or stuff with vinegar soaked Kleenexes overnight

Where is it leaking, past the shutoff and exiting the shower head or coming around the cartridge area?
While your down for a while put your shower head in a baggie of vinegar tied high enough to get it where its needed ,in all the holes
