Both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line | Arctic, maybe you can answer some questions about SNIP. I've installed the SNIP program on my laptop and I'm able to get NMEA into the program with a non-rtk base receiver. My question is, does the base receiver need to be rtk unlocked? The lat and Lon of the base is added when you create the mountpoint. Unless SNIP won't transmit RTCM without seeing RTCM from the base receiver, I'm not sure why the base receiver needs to be rtk enabled. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated as I fumble thru this process. TIA |
