BC, Canada | Still trying to figure out which assisted steering system works best to move between 2 tractors either auto-steer ready.
On a EZ steer, when you get to the headland to turn around, do you just turn the steering wheel with the ez steer motor still in contact with it? Or do you slide it away from the steering wheel to make the corner, slide it back into contact and engage? With the ez steer in contact can you steer through it to go around a tree or small obstacle? By steer through it I mean turn the steering wheel by hand which I assume will disengage the ez steer.
Sorry for the rookie auto steer questions.
I assume you can steer manually with the ez steer in contact but just want to confirm.
Options are either AG Leader on trac or Trimble ez steer | |
