Texas | What a feisty and annoying duck! At least it makes a funny story.
Moss Rose does a good job of surviving the summer heat with very little water. (First picture.)
I tried Gerbera Daisies last year because they are popular at the local garden center. Unfortunately, they failed to thrive. I think they were getting too much sun. I did have one really cute deformed twin flower though. (Second picture.)
Tropical Hibiscus are one of my favorite summer plants. They bloom all summer! (Third picture.)
Zinnias are another popular flower that I have not personally had very good success with in this area. (Fourth picture.)
Periwinkles also do very well here in North Texas. (Fifth picture.)
Finally, I had very good success with Coleus plants last year. I was so happy with them that I posted about them. Link to that post: https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=734437&mid=627...
