OK, I'll ask a chem novice question: Is "Headline" a fungicide? or an insecticide or mix or ???

I take it from the other posts that Headline may be a fungicide. What fungus is it that caused the two ears of corn in the original post to be different?

Fungicides are heavily used on high yielding wheat in Europe and elsewhere. They are also heavily used on turf grasses on golf courses etc.

What is it doing for us applied to corn?

Trying to learn something...
