Although I don't necessarily agree with the argument he has for it (he talks of aggregates rather than the effects it has on individual groups), I have come to a similar conclusion of the way it turns out. The reasonable assumption that central banks and politicians will always choose inflationary policies rather than gaining religion on being fiscally responsible. It is where their power comes from.
