I ran the numbers today on what it costs me to put it in a bale and store it and not only am I most likely an idiot to try to grow it commercially I am also an idiot to not just buy it from some one looking to give their fertility away and burn summer up doing hay.
To make it really worth while I was coming up with $150-175/ton.
Corn and beans would make slightly less at that selling price but that’s one crop not four per year. | |
