Minneota, MN | I have a 2630 display that I haven't updated the software in since 2015. It all worked fine so I just left it.
I bought a new SF6000 receiver and thought I should probably update my 2630 display software. My intention was to update it with the 2017 software release (17-1) by going into the "Archives" section on Deere's website and downloading it there. I wanted to avoid the new, 2018 release as I noticed in the release notes that it uses a new file format and I just wanted to avoid any first-year software issues.
As my luck had it, using the GS Live Update, my software updated to the 2018 (18-1) release. I understand there is a way to roll back the software, but I can't find any instructions on how to do that, nor can I find how to actually download the 2017 version from Deere's website.
So, should I just leave the 2018 version on the display and assume it will work fine, or should I try to figure out how to roll it back to the 2017 version?
Thanks for any insight! | |
