southern MN | Assuming you don't own the whole 2 miles, any chance of getting others to go along in on the cost?
Or would it pay to talk with the drainage district to get a tile main put in as part of the ditch system?
I know that is a can of worms trying to work with multiple neighbors, but sometimes miracles happen.
Both of the mains I mentioned were split costs between me and the neighbor to the east, and me and neighbor to the west.
A concern is not just sizing for your drainage, but for all water going that direction. Once it's there, it will get used, needs to be big enough for the future. That is where getting the drainage district involved to size and assess properly is good.
