Subject: John Deere nh3 boots?

Central ND
We have a John Deere 1835 with the separate placement openers. The boots have alot of slack in the boot and the 'shank', I was prepared to buy the Needham bushing kit BUT this one piece boot is obsolete and the replacement is 2 pieces. Now when you need to replace the boots you just replace the bottom wear part and the part that bolts on doesn't get replaced. Is the Needham setup still the way to go? What do you do when the holes start wearing around the bushings? The Deere solution to the worn hole issue is too put a bigger bolt in but eventually that will wear out too
