Subject: Tricks for steel hydraulic lines?

Working on my skid steer. I resealed the main control valve which has about 6 large steel hydraulic lines. Since bobcat thought it was a good idea to put the valve in the most inaccessible place where you can barely reach it (reducing my arm strength) I am having difficulty reattaching the steel lines. They are probably 3/4” id. I know to loosen the other end and also the mounts for the valve are loose. Should I try a small pipe wrench to twist the lines ever so slightly? It’s so hard to reach and there are no access panels. The lines look like even more of a nightmare than the valve itself to change so I don’t want to ruin them. Any other tips? Better make sure I don’t cross thread them also!
Thanks
