Subject: John Deere 8320 Blowing Fuses

Rupert, Idaho
Our 8320 keeps blowing fuse F11 which the manual says protects "Alternator, Fuel Heater, Starting Aid ".

This tractor doesn't have ether and as far as I know does not have a fuel heater. We had our dealer check the alternator and they said it is fine. What would cause this fuse to blow. Yesterday I had one blow in the first 5 minutes it was installed. Today the tractor was cycled on and off several times and ran for most of an hour and didn't have any problems.

When the fuse blows the alternator stops charging fwiw.
