Never ran a gleaner or a 9600, but I don't know how you could beat a cylinder machine in wheat. Neighbor had a 9600 and we ran another neighbors 9500 a couple times in wheat. We thought it did a good job. We have caseih, but always thought they were at there best in corn, and at their worst in wheat.
