I would say the 62. But also I am biased as you can see. Lol. Have To remember the 9600 is still a conventional combine so soybeans aren't their strong point as far as cracking dry beans and threshing out green pods. 9600 still probably the best combine Deere ever built though. Pretty bullet proof combine. Seems like you would be able to get a cleaner sample in beans with the 62. 62 easy to work on. Pretty much do everything from the ground. No hidden surprises. Make sure accelerator roll lugs are in good shape. Should still have the ripples on them. Enclosed rotor makes big difference in them in soybeans. Good luck
