Subject: Old Case/Bendix Power steering Cylinder/Valve adjustment

NW Oh
Have an old (1960s) case factory forklift built off a wide front 430 tractor. It's got a power steering Cylinder with the valve built into it. The valve portion has Bendix cast into it. It was leaking bad so I put new orings on each end of the valve and that appears to fix the leak, but now I have some power steering in 1 direction and none in the other. Pretty confident it's an adjustment issue. Has anyone had experience with these or adjustment instructions? We have a 430/530 service manual, but it doesn't cover this style of steering.

I found some ford mustangs of that vintage used a similar cylinder/valve combo but nothng I've found would help adjust mine.

Thanks for any thoughts!
