Subject: Re: Headline in Beans Picture

Genoa City, WI
We took out one of our soybean Headline plots, today. Seven bushel difference...I was very surprised. We have a few more to take out, we'll see if that trend holds up this year. I've talked to people who say the treatment is inconsistent...sometimes in some fields they'll see dramatic 5,6,7, 8 bushel differences--go down the road to a different plot and there will be no difference. Seems inconsistent.

I still think Headline looks more promising on corn than beans...but I haven't seen plot data on corn yet this year.
