NW MN | 10ft pipe 5.5ft into clay ground with about 4.5 out of ground. Driven without concrete and no need for a H brace. When I do another project, I will do pipe. That being said, grandpa last fenced in the 60’s with ties and they were still good when pulled out of the ground 5 years ago.
If you have free time you can look at both between the neighbor and I, both styles done within the last 3 years.
