| I've actually had two good bean crops in the past 10 years.In 1997 and again in 2004 they made 47 bpa.The other 8 years they have ran from 12 to 29 bpa which doesnt pay the bills.The weather is terribly screwed up here and has been for years.
Most of us around here cant wait for 2006 to end.The wheat,hay,fescue,and bean crops were all poor here.The corn was the only bright spot.I may dust in some wheat this weekend.Theres sure alot of discouraged farmers in this area. | |
