Michigan | I also despise the subscription model. I get on average about 7 to 8 years out of a computer and like to own the software that is on it. I would also like to be able to move the software to a new computer when I do upgrade. I did kinda like the upgrade option on software that I own if I so choose but don't think I should be force to upgrade to keep using what I have. I would like to see more companies keep offering and upgrade for a fee model or at least a trade in trade up credit when purchasing a new version. Just my two cents, but reward you loyal existing users. I am also a small guy without alot of acres. If I could use software for three enterprises, Mine, my dads, and my brothers we might find 1500 acres and that"s including livestock pastures. I also understand that software development can be expensive, but it would be nice to see some workable options for smaller guys. | |
