I could see that. I was debating between '12 and '14. I think the severe drought in the high plains this year is like a rougher version of '14. The severe drought in '12 had a more southwesterly center. Your point about the Northern Belt is valid though. I think the deciding point for me was probably more local and how the dry area in '14 cuts a more similar path across Iowa and Illinois.

I could see either, but very different outcomes for sure!
