New Castle, PA | 1 more thing to add, concerning farm auctions. While most of the larger auction firms here give you a computer printout when you pay your bill, some of the smaller auction firms just give you a copy of the small clerking tickets that get filled out when the item sells, they just mark the clerking ticket paid. IRS will not honor that, don't ask how I know. Sellers name is not on the clerking ticket,buyers name not on it either, but the biggest problem is no date on the clerking ticket.
