What charts and technical analysis would you recommend for trading commodities?

Well, after reading the replies, I am admittedly confused as to your request. I thought you were asking what technique, not platform, so...sorry if I bore you with nonesense.
Technique wise, use what pleases you. Doesn't do any good to have a killer technique if the mind cannot see it. You know all the different techniques. EW, ANdrews, squiggly line indicators, Gann..the list is long.
Platforms should be adjusted to your technique. If you prefer backtested indicator systems, you would want to go with something like Multicharts, or Tradestation that has that functionality. If lines are your thing, I have never found a platform more line friendly than Ensign. Cheaper or free versions would be Trading view, sierra, or there are many brokerage companies that piggy back a platform with the order software....IB, amp, for example.
