southern MN | Have not heard of that, but bylaws keep changing, and folded together coops adapt this or that set of bylaws that never really gets explained to us common folk. So I guess it could happen. Seems like a bad policy tho.
I hooked on tot he 3 coops I'm in so long ago, one actually issued me a certificate way back when, others I'm not sure how I 'became' a member. Thought you just have to cross a threshold dollar amount of business and be a farmer and you are in on all three of these?
Seems like a bad setup they have.
Years ago the JD dealership kinda treated me like that, said they had to charge me sales tax because I wasn't in their computer as a farmer exempt. Didn't give me any options to change that? I don't actually have much Green, that's one of the reasons.
