Ethanol is competition for market share from oil. Read Henry Fords autobiography. That is where I learned what prohibition was really about, Ford made his car to run on corn alcohol, the oil boys wanted them to run on their product. Soooo, buy off some politicians, make alcohol illegal, and shes all yours. Really an eye opener and makes you realize why oil has modern day lobbyists, they have a long history of success owning government. Also of historical interest is the story of Rudolph Diesel. Invented the diesel engine so farmers could run them on their own grown vegetable oil, same concept as Henry Ford. Diesel ended up in the bottom of the English Channel, murdered by big oil. Ford stayed alive, but was blackballed by even his own auto industry and everyone oil could control. After you know the story of Ford, you will understand his hatred for the Jews etc. It was never about the religion, it was how they treated him. In the end, the model T had to burn a product of oil distillation, because corn alcohol was banned. This has been a very long battle boys and girls, it didn't just start with rins. Big oil understands the danger of letting us farmers make our own alcohol to burn in cars and crushing oilseeds from cotton to peanuts to soybeans to palm oil to canola etc. They don't want the competition, they want the cash.
