Subject: RE: Ez Steer RTK

bstorm - 2/13/2018 20:15 If I had RTK on my ez guide and ez steer on a 4240 and I used my lines from planting out of my John Deere system (planting 30’ spraying 90’) would I be happy with the results for spraying rows? Or am I dreaming on be able to spray rows with autosteer? Edited to add 30” rows

If your steering is tight, you're on flat ground (mfwd holds a line much better on rolling ground) and you don't intend to go much faster than planting speeds, it will probably work satisfactory.

Loose steering, rolling ground, higher speeds or any combination of the three is likely a recipe to be disappointed.

Assuming your 4240 has a cab, tires narrower than 18.4" set on true 60" centers would be a helpful.
