Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Don't know about this particular planter but the Elloit company does make ProDrive replacement cables that contain a clutch. One would replace the Deere ProDrive cables with these. They indicate compatibility with Deere electronics but I would think they could work with other systems with a cable connector adapter. Polarity might be an issue.
I have no idea of their reliability etc but it appears to be an easy way to add clutches to a ProDrive Planter. It would not have the limitation that Ag Leader's Sure Vacs have with the Pro 40 disks etc. I would think they would work on any planter with ProDrive cables and not just be limited to the 1790.
