Subject: Thirty Inch Versus Fifteen Inch Rows in Soybeans

Western Ky.
Would there be any yield advantage for 30" soybeans with fertilizer placed 2x2 versus 15" soybeans with the same amount of fertilizer broadcast. I am thinking about trying some 30" soybeans with fertilizer 2x2. We have had no 30" soybeans for at least 15 years. This will be notill into standing corn stalks on medium fertility dirt. I am wondering if there have been any university studies on this.
