| 60 Series combines require harvest doc key card activation to record yield data. If that's all you want to do right now than you don't need a TCM or Field doc or apex. JD office will still work the same as it has in the past. The TCM is only needed if you plan to Auto steer your combine. All of Deere's ag equipment are now coming with a new style cab roof that will be the same across the board across they have a receptacle molded into the roof for connecting the receiver. If your starfire receiver has a short 3 inch pigtail than you need harness pf80722 to connect to the new cab roof. New starfire receivers are coming with a 14" pigtail that will connect to both style cab roofs.
The warning about the conflict is just that harvest monitor and harvest doc are fighting for the same positions on the run page. this can be fixed by changing your run page layout in harvest monitor and harvest doc so the two don't overlap spots.
So the most economical is to just buy the $500 harvest doc key card and your ready to go | |
