Athens, Ga | Not sure how the 8000 series cab is, but on the 7830 I ran it in top of cab by the cab light (where the wire harness comes out to light), then took the top off the cab. There was 2 grommets (behind the radio) not being used that went into the space above the headliner so I cut an X in them and pushed the antenna wires through them then ran them down the back RH post. And then through the side panel to fmx
