All I know about milo, you could write on the head of a pin. that said, after reading a lot about milo on crop talk, sorgum/milo growers have my admiration. It sounds like milo sucks because it 1) has constant bug problems 2) wont dry down 3) itchy 4) falls over/goes flat 5) does not store well in the bin 6) other stuff I left out.

Bugs are a problem, sometimes but there are bugs that eat on corn as well.

Here we don't have much problem drying down and if you do there's always some roundup.

It does itch, no if ands or buts.

Falling down is sometimes a problem for us, more so than corn.

Stores ok just needs more fan to get the air across due to higher resistance to air flow.

Here it's harder to get rid of the stubble compared to corn.

But,,,,, its worth more than corn the last few years!
