idalivered - 1/21/2018 05:11 All I know about milo, you could write on the head of a pin. that said, after reading a lot about milo on crop talk, sorgum/milo growers have my admiration. It sounds like milo sucks because it 1) has constant bug problems 2) wont dry down 3) itchy 4) falls over/goes flat 5) does not store well in the bin 6) other stuff I left out.

It's not that bad. It's not that much different than corn. I have never had problems with dry down. As far as itchy, combines have cabs now. Yes it will fall down if not managed. Corn will fall down also. I never had issues storing it. I probably had less issues with milo than I did corn. It has been a few years since I had milo. I would grow milo if I had some place to sell it. No one will take it around here.
