A friend uses his cell phone for his contracting business, and this has really been a nightmare for him. He can't afford to not answer numbers he doesn't recognize, and the do-not-call list is worthless.

Apparently, not everyone in the free world knows that this is a recognized scam activity, as I've gotten a couple fairly nasty texts from people who've gotten these scam calls showing my cell number, wanting to know "who is this and what do you want?"  Makes me feel bad, but I understand their frustration.
