Subject: Growing 3 weight beef calves. Insight needed.

Central IL

I’m wanting to background some peewee beef calves utilizing wrapped haylage that I have available. Wrapped hay is mainly alfalfa grass mix. Can I get away with this without building a bunch of little hay bellies out there? Should I formulate a limit fed suppliment feed to balance them out? Thanks
