Culbertson, MT | I have an auto-oiler on my JD 568. After 15,000+ bales my thoughts are 1) messy clean-up at end of season. I have mine adjusted to use approx. 2 qts of oil over bales made on 1 roll of wrap (approx. 200 bales); 2) gotta remember to refill the reservoir!. Pluses... 1) I've replaced 1 set of chains in 15,000 bales, the sprockets are still as new. Compared to my previous balers I would be on the 3rd set of chains and ready for 2nd set of sprockets.
I'll have an oiler on my next baler. | |
