Iowa | I'm an above-knee amputee for 33+ years. Obviously, it changes things. But the prosthetic solutions for feet are pretty amazing. With the right attitude and support from those around you, you'll do great. Seems you already have a good outlook, so kudos to you!
Speaking of feet, I'll be shopping on ebay for a used one soon as mine is wearing out and needs replaced! Can't get enough lube into it to keep it from squeaking...
