This is a little off topic, but the game that was played at that same UPS depot was that we would take bets on if a new guy would last until break time or not. It was hard, dirty work unloading boxes from semi van trailers, and a lot of guys about five minutes after work started would ask to go to the bathroom, and then you would never see them again!
I won most of the bets. If a new guy had just started, I would strike up a conversation and ask him if he grew up on a farm. That was usually enough to know if he would stick it out or not......... | |
