Northern Indiana | We are working on a service bed that we are cleaning up and painting.
Have it upside down and underside had some crossmembers that were rusted and tough looking so I cut them out and replaced them.
The underside was rusty and we wire wheeled it as best as we could. I am thinking of coating it with a rust preventative such as Fluid Film and I understand we will need to reapply it every so often, but it is going on a second generation Dodge so the chassis will need attention also to keep it nice.
Any thoughts on this product? Or how to keep the rust at bay ?
