| Looking at moving up from my 99 Sable wagon into an SUV. Primarily a daily driver for me, but may be needed to haul the family of 5. Explorer and Grand Cherokee come to the top as the biggest of the "small" ones. I see a lot of Explorers for sale with engine trouble. Did the 4.0 have a bad reputation? With the Jeep option I've read the old straight 6 is the way to go vs the 318. Anything I am missing? Different choices? The Blazer isn't that much smaller and probably has the best engine with the 4.3. I just know how tight the Sable can get with all of us in it.
