KY | I know ice and snow are a mere inconvenience for many, but around here it’s crippling. We had ice followed by 3 inches of snow, and this afternoon it started snowing again and they’re calling for 3-5 tonight. I couldn’t get turned around in the yard because of ice, so I drove down the lane to where my hay storage is thinking I could circle around. I got in, circled around, and kept sliding down the slight grade on the way out. Had to pull out small gate post and 30 feet of fence and t-posts to get back out. Had to pull out of barn lot with both loads of calves with tractor assistance, and both truck and tractor were spinning. On the 2nd return trip from the sale barn this evening, could not longer see the lines on the road. Turned the brake controller to zero to prevent seeing my trailer out my side window.
