Subject: Biannual P & K applications.

Does anyone fall apply two years worth of P & K ahead of soybeans and only spring apply N ahead of corn? This is a full width tillage corn/soybean rotation. I am moving to all corn one year and all soybeans the next year. Thanks for the help and opinions.

Edit: it would look like this:

Fall 2018: harvest corn, soil sample, broadcast dry P & K, disc stalks

Spring 2019: work ground and plant soybeans

Fall 2019: harvest soybeans, broadcast cover crop if weather cooperates, chisel plow.

Spring 2020: broadcast urea, work ground, plant corn.
