MN | A few years ago I put an arduino, motor controller and a linear actuator in a steiger tractor that we converted to an automatic transmission.
The arduino positions the linear actuator to reverse, 4,3,2,1 based on the potentiometer in the linear actuator. Operator selects forward or reverse, and then has a separate toggle to select which forward gear they want.
I haven't done much with arduino's since. I bought a couple raspberry pi's, one of them is set up to receive ADS-B signals while flying, not my design, I just assembled it. The other I have running as a PC but haven't experimented too much with it other than learning python.
Email's in my profile, I'd be interested in discussing them. I'd really like to set up some remote stuff using cell phone modules. | |
