Subject: What Gauge wheels to use on a 1990 CCS?

Dwight IL
We recently purchased a 30' 1990 CCS JD Drill (7.5") for use on 15' row beans (blocking off the other rows) and for drilling cover crops both ours and custom in the fall. Some of the gauge wheels need to be replaced so we are looking at the options that are available on the web.

What have you ran that you have liked?

Narrow wheels?

The "mud" style spoked wheel rims? like these http://www.copperheadag.com/mudsmith-complete-gauge-wheel/

What about closing wheels? What are the best spiked closing wheels out there?
