Subject: Question on drive over piles

SC Wisconsin
Just out of curiosity, would a drive over pile work for say 120 milk cows or would you go with a bag or an upright? Have none of the 3 so could go any way really. I was thinking bags but by the time you make a good base, you might as well pay a little more and put down asphalt. I just don't know if you could keep up with the removal rate of 6" per day that they recommend with that few of cows. Upright silos are a major pain I know, but they seem to be pretty cheep to build and I love the quality of feed out of them. Just letting my mind wander on a Sunday morning drive is all. Thanks
