The link(s) do need to be clear line of sight. If the bins are in the way you could set up a repeater station and access point at a place that is mutually visible from both the shop and the house. This could be at the top of a bin or someplace off to the side. It will take three or four radios to make this work but it will work just fine. I have line of site from my house to shop. I also have my bins 1.8 miles away where I have a radio tower. I send internet wirelessly to my bins and then back to my shop. Works good.
